'Reach for the stars', Linde

Client: Linde
Location: Excel, London
Date: March 2005

Written and directed by Lavish, this show was the high point of the '116' product launch event. Described as "De La Guarda meets James Bond", the audience were shaken and stirred as they thrilled to the sensational live show which was action packed, entertaining, sexy and stylish.

Highly stylised dance formations were performed in time to over 300 complex lighting cues. The result was hypnotic and sensual and yet underlined an industrial relation to repetition in movement.

Specialists Luke Loseley, Pete Ainsley & Giles Thacker digital media/lighting designers (The Verve, Catatonia, Pulp, Robert Plant, New Order, Orbital) also created and live-mixed sensational film footage and digital fx for the show. In a stunning run up to the high octane finale, slick stunts gave way to a glittering burst of pyrotechnics and a fabulous light show finale, before the '116' was given a magical unveiling as it burst through the front of a huge floating box.
